First, make the crust by combining:
1 cup pecan meal and chopped pecans
1 cup flour
2/3 cup melted butter
Stir until combined. Press mixture into a coated baking dish, (crisco or oil). You can use a 13′ x 19′ or if you like it a little thicker you can use a square.
Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes.
When it is done, remove and cool the crust before adding toppings.
1st layer combine:
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 Tablespoon sugar
1 to 1 1/2 cups Cool Whip
spread out evenly on cooled crust
Make 2 small packages chocolate pudding according to instructions and spread evenly over the first layer. Let set a few minutes.
Cool whip makes the 3rd layer. Spread it evenly over the chocolate pudding layer. Sprinkle crushed up Heath Bars on top.
